Testing The Waters With Trafficspaces

August 4, 2008 – 3:59 pm

Water In a Glass

Trafficspaces is officially in beta mode. Well, not beta as in “Cuil definitely needs to be in beta” but as in “Is Gmail still in beta?”.

If you didn’t get the joke, well never mind. What we mean is that even though that the platform is pretty stable and it works very well, we’ve decided to launch it in beta mode so that we can manage the number of publishers that sign up during the growth stage of the product.

We will be accepting publishers in stages so if you want to use the platform, request an invitation now.

If you are accepted, we will setup a default customized platform for you and send the login details to you via email.

Trafficspaces Demo Revealed

As you may have noticed, there is a large, unmissable button on the home page that is labelled “Live Demo” . As the name suggests, if you click on it, it launches a demo of the Trafficspaces platform

Ok, so what is this Live Demo?

Well, its simple really. We’ve created a fictional blog network called The OK Network and created a customized ad platform for it.

You can see all the available ad spaces in the blog network including the pricing terms, traffic analytics and demographic spread.

Typically, a customized platform would be launched when a potential advertiser clicks on an “Advertise Here” link on any of the publisher’s websites (in this case, the blogs in the network).

The rest is straightforward. In addition to being able to start an ad campaign on the site from which they came, they can also advertise on any of the other available ad spaces.

Ok, what else can I test?

You can test the system as either the “Advertiser” or the “Publisher”.

As the Advertiser, you can create your own campaign, upload ads, bid for ad spaces and view campaign reports.

As the Publisher, you get full administrative rights i.e. creating ad spaces, setting prices, processing direct sale orders, managing client info, uploading ads, changing the look & feel of the plaform and lots more…

Go on, try it…

Make sure you give us your feedback.

Trafficspaces Exits Stealth Mode

July 28, 2008 – 6:51 pm

There is a new Ad Manager in town and it’s called Trafficspaces.Out Of Stealth

Developed by the techies who created the erstwhile Aductions ad platform, the new Trafficspaces system is a hosted, two-in-one ad management tool that is designed for publishers and blog networks.

With Trafficspaces, you can

  1. Provide a self-service ad campaign management interface to anyone that wishes to advertise with you.
  2. Take orders offline, fulfill them through the system and send reports automatically to your advertisers.

Arguably even cooler is the fact that every Trafficspaces system is going to look different because you can customise it to blend in perfectly with your website and of course, show only your ad spaces.

Your advertisers simply move from your website to your customized ad platform without feeling like they’ve gone to another site.
